$125.00

This BFA is designed for use with M200 blanks in a professional training environment ONLY.

This BFA is only intended to work with Surefire 3P and 4P muzzle devices.

Designed by former Green Berrett, James Hills. The BFA1 was designed to allow SOF units to use the issued URGI without having to change muzzle devices.

The housing is 7075 aluminum with a helicoil steel thread for strength. The plug is made from 416 steel. Manufactured 100% in the USA.

U.S. Patent No: D874-601

Q&A:

Why would you buy this BFA instead of a cheaper issued BFA?
The BFA1 is ideal for people who have a pinned and welded surefire muzzle device, don’t want to switch muzzle devices back-and-forth between an A2 bird cage, or, intend to switch back to a supressor after training.

Will it fit on non-Surefire muzzle devices?
It could, but there is no guarantee it will function correctly. If the collar diameter is larger than a Surefire it will not fit. If the prongs are longer than a surefire it will not fit. You accept all risks and potential failures if you buy this BFA and intend to use it on another muzzle device.

Why is it so expensive?
It’s machined and made entirely in the USA in very small batches for a small group of users. A cheap A2 birdcage and a standard issued yellow BFA might be your solution if you’re on a budget.

Are there any known weaknesses or watch-outs?
I have put a few hundred rounds through mine on two different guns (10.3” with a 4P and a 13.7” with a 3P), and all cycled perfectly with their existing buffers. The only caution I would raise is the strength of the ring. We had some dudes with monkey strength start to bend theirs. The BFA should crank down snug like a standard USGI BFA, with a periodic check to make sure it’s still tight. You don’t have to overdo it! I have already given this feedback to James.
